From the reviews
I have known and trusted Angie Edge since our days together at Han University and the Asian Institute of Oriental Medicine. She is a great listener has an intuitive sense of of seeing where the issues lie.
My dad has been going to see Angie for treatment because his high blood pressure had made his right eye lose vision almost entirely. He couldn't see very well or at all on some days, and we had been going to see various retinal specialists to try and help gain some vision back.
Angie is a highly competent and experienced professional acupuncturist. Her previous practice as an RN and massage therapist contribute to her extensive knowledge of human physiology. Her intuitive talent for finding the source of ailments and bringing the system back into balance is exceptional.
Angie is incredibly knowledgeable, intuitive, and a great teacher. I really appreciate her work and she has made a big difference! I definately recommend her to anyone who is looking to address a variety of health issues!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
