“As a woman of a certain age, he was VERY knowledgeable about not only the acupuncture side of treatment, but lifestyle changes and ways to bring calm back into my life.”
From the reviews
I met Andrew several years ago and thank God I found him!!!!He asked me more questions than my GP does about, well .., EVERYTHING! He was so thorough and talked to me about supplements, lifestyle, diet, exercise, my life!! I felt HEARD!!!
Andrew is, by FAR, the best acupuncturist I’ve ever worked with. I’ve had several over the years and most seem to have routines that they choose from and follow that route for the session. Andrew asks questions, listens, and takes a course of action that has significant benefits.
I can’t say enough about how talented Andrew is at acupuncture besides being so great at his craft he is very thoughtful and kind. I broke my ankle a year and a half ago and he’s the first person I found who is given me relief I am so grateful for him if you’ve tried acupuncture before and didn’t care for it please…
I have been seeing Andrew for over a year. He is very well educated & extremely knowledgeable about the body, injuries, conditions, etc. and is great at explaining things which lay person can understand. As a former body worker, I greatly appreciate the information and insights.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
