From the reviews

I've been coming to accutonics for a little more than 22 years. Adam Griffin is the best, a true healer! As a lifetime competitive weight lifter and Hollywood bodyguard, I have never gotten myself into physical trouble that Adam was not able to get me out of!

★★★★★ — X-Frame, Mar 2024

Exceptional Healing and Expert Guidance: My Experience with Adam at Acutonix Wellness Center I had the pleasure of seeking treatment from Adam at Acutonix Wellness Center after sustaining a shoulder injury while snowboarding. From the very first appointment, Adam's expertise and dedication to healing became apparent.

★★★★★ — James, Mar 2024

The staff is lovely, and both locations are beautiful. Acutonix has created a comforting oasis in the busy city! I have been visiting Adam for over a year, and the results truly show. When I first came to see him, I was completely out of balance.

★★★★★ — Josephine, Sep 2019

Dr. Adam is my weekly healing GURU! I have been going to Adam for acupuncture for over 20 years - he is not only a lovely human being but so good and “curing” me of whatever I am going through. He is currently working on my rotator cuff and lower back. Both are healing beautifully.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
