From the reviews

I had several sessions with Yosef POLLACK. He was great, took care of my shoulder which l injured in January of this year. Started the sessions with him in late May. I had other issues as well; vertigo, arthritis, hot flashes, and some swelling in ankles.

★★★★★ — Priscilla, Aug 2021

I have been seeing Yoseph for several years and always feel so much better after a treatment. He’s very intuitive about each treatment. He’s helped with soft tissue injuries, lower back issues, digestive problems, and sometimes general malaise when I just don’t feel well.

★★★★★ — Susan, Aug 2021

I have been going to Acupuncture Points for years and it has been so beneficial for my overall health, both physically and mentally. Yosef has always been very helpful and knowledgeable about how to help me with my various issues over the years.

★★★★★ — Patty, Aug 2021

Yosef is an amazing therapist. His holistic way of looking an ailment gives me a lot of comfort. He is a great human being. He has cured some of my long standing issues related to muscle and nerves in hands and shoulders. Thanks Yosef for all you do. Best of luck!!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
