I’ve been seeing Guang at Acupuncture Healing Center for a while now, and I’m so grateful for the incredible results I’ve experienced. Each visit leaves me feeling better, more balanced, and truly cared for.
I have had great results from treatment received for periodic vertigo and dizziness at the Chinatown location (acupuncture and herbal therapy). The doctors really take the time to figure out what is going on with my body, and take a holistic approach to setting things straight.
I absolutely LOVE my acupuncture experiences here. This is my first experience and I've had over 10 sessions! I contracted Bell's Palsy and wanted to be more active with my healing process. This center is always immaculate and everyone is very kind. I alternate between two experts, Guang H. and Dr. J.R. Heiz.
First time at the Chinatown location I usually treat at Orlando park. I will say the location is great with lots of parking available. They are the best for acupuncture it has definitely helped me with sciatica pain after a couple weeks. I would definitely recommend.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
