From the reviews
I was pleasantly surprised with this small studio in the middle of downtown. Dr. Mark was very knowledgeable, wasn't upset that I got lost and was a bit late, and eased me through my first acupuncture treatment in a long time. Definitely feel different and relaxed, and just good in general.
Dr. Marc at Acupuncture Arts is truly exceptional. From the moment you walk in, the space feels calm, welcoming, and healing. Dr. Marc has a grounded, attentive presence…you can tell he genuinely cares about your well-being and takes the time to listen before tailoring the treatment.
Mark is a true artisan and Chinese Medicine Guru. His knowledge is incredible and what he says and it works. Everytime I visit him, I feel so much relief internally. The energy is more circulating and I feel emotionally better too.
Mark is a fantastic healer and is one of the top experts I've met for Acupuncture. He took the time to explain to me what Acupuncture does to the body and how it heals. He provided a safe and clean environment and there were times I snored during the session. Very relaxing and tranquil.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
