From the reviews
This is the first time I’ve tried acupuncture. Dr Peng is an amazing healer. She loves what she does and really cares about our well being. She sees what is ailing our bodies with her hands.
Dr is great. Back pain gone next day! acupressure, acupuncture, and cupping. She also has infrared sauna.
It’s been a few months, just under 20 appointments and all I’ve got is positive feedback. Flor at the front desk is always so kind, welcoming and knowledgeable even over the phone. Dr. Peng is awesome, she really does seem to care. Sometimes she just looks at me walk in and knows how to help.
The VA sent me to Acupunture & Holistic care for back issues as well as nerve issues in my left hand. I've had 2 sessions so far and Dr. Peng is wonderful at asking what issues you are wanting treated and making you feel very comfortable. And Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
