From the reviews

I’ve had lower back pain for a long time and Dr. Wendy (Chaohui) did an amazing job with acupuncture and cupping. I felt better after the first session! Price is reasonable and I would recommend this Dr!

★★★★★ — Nada, Nov 2020

I can't say enough about Wendy. If you have cancer, if you have any pain, if you have an issue that just won't go away, if you can't figure out what is wrong, in short, if you have ANYTHING you need help with, give her a call.

★★★★★ — A., Jun 2018

For the past five to six years of my life, I have had extreme shoulder pain and lower back pain. When I first brought this pain up to my primary care doctor in 2018 she gave me ibuprofen and that is what I used which did absolutely nothing. It was simply a temporary relief.

★★★★★ — Future, Dec 2024

I have had Sciatic pain for several years. I thought I would have to learn to live with the pain because none of the doctors I visited nor therapies I tried worked. The pain kept me up at night and limited my activities until I heard about Wendy Zhang and the LIFENhance clinic.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
