From the reviews

ACA Acupuncture is the BEST! Their staff is so friendly and attentive and patient and kind and are great at figuring out your insurance. Dr. Liu has helped me tremendously with my anxiety, over-thinking, stress levels, neck and back pain. I also have problems going regularly and Dr.

★★★★★ — Irene, Jul 2024

Dr. Liu is an incredible acupuncturist. I have seen many acupuncturists and none have been nearly as effective as Dr. Liu. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised: she was trained at top tier institutions in China and has decades of experience. She is very knowledgeable and takes time to understand your symptoms.

Marc is a wonderfully skilled and knowledgeable acupuncturist with lovely bedside manner. Saw him for neck pain and neuropathy a few months ago. I truly felt like his sessions made the biggest difference in my recovery.

★★★★★ — Amber, Jul 2020

Wonderful clinic with really helpful staff! I struggled with infertility for 2 years and decided to give acupuncture a try during our most recent egg retrieval/embryo transfer cycle and it worked! Shoutout to Dr.Harris! He always made me laugh and feel comfortable during my visits.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
