From the reviews

Maria is a must see massage therapist. She is very tuned into the body and takes that intuition to your individual body’s needs during your massage. Not only that, which is amazing in and of itself, her space is beautiful with a very calming and serene vibe to it. Enjoy a massage with Maria—you won’t regret it!

Zen Paso is amazing, Maria is a phenomenal masseuse. Her studio is clean, warm and tranquil. She goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and interchanges different massage techniques each time you visit so your body gets the most from your massage. I highly recommend Zen Paso!!

My massage with Maria was wonderful. She listened to my needs and did a great job working on my sore problem areas. I feel so much better! My husband had a massage with Bree and he loved his too. We would both highly recommend.

★★★★★ — Carolyn, Feb 2025

I had never done yoga before, and am a bit introverted so I was nervous about the entire experience. But when I met Jillian, not only did she make me feel at ease but she was also exceptionally attentive in helping me navigate the movements and working with my skill level and ability.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
