I just want to say Selena is a miracle worker and I am so grateful to God that she is here in Paso Robles. She is the best deal 100% better every time I go see her. She has been a godsend in my life…
Salena is so knowledgeable and present and really incredible. She is helping me manage my pain and heal my body! She is an excellent listener and works hard to find the exact treatment that is best for me. I feel very cared for and about. I am so grateful and truly amazed at my progress!
I can't say how much Salena has helped me. I deal with audible tics that are a major distraction in my and my families lives. I've tried everything under the sun (while staying away from meds). Her acupuncture and herbal medicine are the only treatments that have helped me .
Salena is fantastic! This was my first experience with acupuncture and she did an amazing job explaining everything and really asking good questions. Her background and education are top notch and she is passionate about helping people.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
