From the reviews
If your looking for a great new acupuncture spot, this is the place. Klint is very helpful and explains everything to you about what he is doing. I went here for a cupping treatment on my back and also got some Gua sha in the Buddha treatment room.
Dr. Klint is wonderful and makes sure his patients receive a holistic healing experience to improve physical and mental health. He is an expert in acupuncture as well as other Eastern Medicine treatments like cupping. Couldn’t recommend Zen Lab more!!
Klint is amazing!! He is always very helpful and it is always a relaxing experience! I always feel much better afterwards, highly recommend especially if you've never tried acupuncture before.
I was a skeptic about acupuncture. My entire family has now gone here for different needs. He is amazing, kind and above all good! I would highly recommend him.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
