From the reviews

When I'm asked about the benefits of TCM, I get excited to share my admiration Courtni. Her attention to details and ability to create a treatment specific to you- every time. She listens and uses her incredible knowledge to help you heal.

★★★★★ — Danielle, Jun 2025

I can't say enough good things about Courtni with Zō Eastern medicine . From the moment you walk in, you feel calm, cared for and genuinely listened to. She takes the time to understand your whole self and not just your symptoms. She will make a treatment plan that truly makes a difference.

★★★★★ — Debbie, Oct 2025

I was blessed with a friend that introduced me to Courtni and have had the pleasure of being treated by her for a few years now. I travel up north to visit friends once a year, never making plans until the last second but she always squeezes me in. We've done massage, fire cupping and acupuncture.

★★★★★ — Dusty, Nov 2025

Working with Courtni Gondreau at Zō Eastern Medicine is truly great. Her approach goes far beyond symptom relief—she genuinely takes the time to understand what’s happening in your body, mind, and daily life, and creates the appropriate treatment.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
