Mark from the Woodbury location has done a fabulous job helping me through my work injury. I would definitely recommend anyone that needs help to go there. Everyone is so nice and so happy to help you through every step of your recovery or whatever your needs are.

I've been to numerous PTs and Viverant is the only one I've ever been impressed with. Their staff are incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and motivated to get your body fixed. The PTs get to know you (because you actually get to see the same person each time!

I was fortunate to here about Viverant from my daughter who was a client at the St Louis Park sight. She has had multiple PT providers over the years and when she sent me in the Viverant direction I was so pleased. I went to Woodbury as it was the closest to my Hastings home .

Not like other physical therapy rehab units I’ve been to. I was immediately put at ease when I walked through the door by the environment, decor etc. it felt more like I was walking into a spa.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
