Why Youngstown Knee Lab is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “a single area. If you’re unsure which option is best, just ask your PT or OT. We’re happy to guide you! Will I be sore after treatment? Possibly—but it’s usually mild. From the reviews

Dr. Kenny really helped me. My injury was diagnosed in the middle of a move from state to state. My first MRI read partial thickness tears of my PCL and ACL. He was my virtual PT that kept me accountable and gave me excellent exercises to promote flexion and healing.

★★★★★ — Renee, Jun 2026

Had a great experience with Dr Kenny! Over the summer I went regularly to the lab to sort out some pain I had in my right knee. In the process, he not only helped me overcome the issues with my knee, but also gave me successful tips with my right shoulder issues.

★★★★★ — Ben, Oct 2025

Dr. Ken is always professional and “teaches” the why and how for getting better and preventing future issues . He is quick to respond to messages, we have been able to get appointments quickly ! His office is right off of route 244 and is clean and easy to get to. Give him a try , you won’t be disappointed.

★★★★★ — Tammy, Oct 2025

I came here through online for acl issues in both knees. I have seen a ton of progress and coach Kenny is very knowledgeable, passionate, and caring. He has become a friend over time and I would highly recommend him to anyone!!! And the online aspect they offer is a game changer!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
