From the reviews
Heather is amazing! She is very intuitive and helped get my body discomfort to a manageable place . I am hair stylist and a mother of a toddler and a newborn. I have a lot of pain in my shoulders, back, arms and wrist.
Thanks to Heather at Yarrow and you therapy! You were an essential part of my recovery from an auto collision while on a job, fortunately bodywork was included coverage. I had become unable to walk without significant pain.
Heather is wonderful and a tune to what her clients need. I was looking for someone who did bodywork and massage. I found Heather several months back and was impressed at her knowledge and skills as a body worker. I love going to see Heather! I highly recommend making an appointment to see for yourself!
I always feel beyond grateful when I'm able to receive a massage from Heather! She is a natural healer and works from a place of intuition. I love that each of our sessions were customized to my energy & bodywork needs in that moment. Can't recommend Heather enough!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
