From the reviews
A Healing Blend of Relaxation and Relief! One of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences, especially helpful while battling Rheumatoid arthritis. Her skill and expertise were immediately apparent as she expertly worked through the sore "tin man" joints and tension in the muscles.
After several months without having a massage, I found Allison and I’m glad I did. She took the time to discuss my area’s of concern and hit house areas with precision and accuracy.
Allison is an amazing massage therapist. I had my first appointment with her last week and looking forward to scheduling another one soon. Allison is warm and welcoming and her studio space was inviting and comfortable. She had several options for cushion arrangements on the table to maximize comfort.
As a nurse and someone who works out several days a week, my back is always sore and tight. I go to Allison not for a "fluffy" massage, but for her to workout my back enough for me to get me back to work and in the gym. She knows my trouble areas, and is able to massage them and use her tools to get them to relax!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
