From the reviews

I highly recommend Dr. Wu! I have chronic lower back pain, which becomes constant and unbearable in the past few months. I went to Dr. Wu, and she helped me with great skills and care. She didn't make empty promise of total healing, but assured me that she would try her best to make me feel better. And she did!

I had such a wonderful experience with this acupuncturist! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The clinic was calm, clean, and inviting, which immediately set the tone for a healing session. Professionalism: Dr.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Wu at Yangming Acupuncture, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She is incredibly skilled, professional, and attentive to her patients’ needs. From the very first session, I felt comfortable and confident in her care. Dr.

Dr. Wu is amazing! I started visiting her several years ago after using a different acupuncturist. Most of my treatments are for chronic pain from various auto accidents and injuries and I get just as much relief from monthly treatments as I would from pills.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
