From the reviews
I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist, and Amy is who I go to for my massages! She really knows her anatomy, is intuitive with pressure, and is always able to resolve my pain points. Her office is beautiful and inviting, and all of her equipment is top of the line.
Amy is incredibly intuitive when it comes to her practice. I told her a few things that were bothering me, and after she asked a few more questions, she provided executed several treatments that left me feeling awesome!
Amy is the absolute best! I saw her originally for a massage and cupping to help with my scoliosis and back pain. Now as a post op patient, Amy works her magic once again. Two sessions into our treatment plan and I’m already seeing and feeling the difference.
Amy’s place is beautiful and comfortable. Very clean and was very easy to relax. I’ve tried almost all of her services, and have done many together. The massage with cupping is my go to. She always ask what areas I need more focus on, and I swear she is spot on woth her massage.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
