From the reviews

I get bi weekly massages from Jason Ni. He is a miracle worker and an incredible practitioner. He helps my body and mind feel in alignment and relieves the stress and tension.

Dr.Wu has taken care of me for many years. He uses several healing modalities from tuina, cupping, acupressure and specifically designed herbs for strengthening one's constitution. I highly recommend Dr. Wu.

I would like to share with you my experience and thoughts about Tui-na Therapy I received from Ms. Shirley Wu in Wu Healing Center. I have know Shirley for more than ten years, and she is a very responsible and caring person. Once you enter her therapy room, you know that you will be treated well.

I have been going to the Wu Healing Center for at least 15 years. I have loved the qi gong and tai chi classes with Dr. Wu. I have been going at least twice a week all these years. I have also had several helpful Tui na treatments with Dr. Wu but mostly I have been getting tui na treatments from Dr.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
