From the reviews
I feel fortunate to be going to Woodstown Physical Therapy and my therapist David Perroto. Although I've had orthopedic issues all of my life, I never imagined how difficult recovering from hip replacement would be because of them.
Woodstown Physical Therapy has been instrumental in improving my discomfort and mobility. Dave has been diligently working with me implementing various practices to best support my recovery. He has a holistic perspective on healing, exploring and implementing a multifaceted approach.
I have been a patient since October 2025. Dave has been my physical therapist since day 1. He has been amazing. He has greeted me everyday with a smile and a kind word. He professional, caring, warm and knowledgeable.
After I was hospitalized for rhabdomyolysis, I decided to seek help here for rebuilding muscle and regaining stamina. Multiple months later, I've seen tremendous improvement!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
