From the reviews
03-06-26 update Melissa continues to be my go-to healthcare practitioner! Not only does she provide thoughtful and compassionate care, I feel the positive impact of the acupuncture treatments -- more energy and a quicker return to health!
My experience at Wise Wellness over the past year has been life-changing. The incredible team—Melissa, Kiana, Erin, Jill and Nancy—are not only the kindest and most compassionate professionals, but they truly care about their patients' well-being.
I cut off the tip of my left thumb a few years ago in a tablesaw accident. Although the end of my thumb was numb there was a dull act near the bone. There was nothing the hand surgeon could do for me.
The Wise Wellness is the best. They have helped out tremendously with not only my back pain and the amazing accumapuncture that they provide, but also; they have helped out with my mental wellness when attending said appointments. Thank you Wise Welness for helping to heal.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
