From the reviews
I had my first chiropractic appointment with Dr. Windie McKay, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, she was extremely professional, attentive, and understanding.
My wife absolutely loves Dr. McKay and her staff, so I may already be a little biased in my review. Today was my first time seeing a chiropractor ever. She explained everything thoroughly and took time to listen to any complaints or concerns.
I've suffered w/chronic neck pain since I was young thinking I just had to live with it until I went to see Dr Mckay! Not only has she helped my neck feel so much better I always enjoy chatting with her during my appointments! She is funny & puts you at ease!
Got me in quick when I requested an appointment. Early morning slots are convenient for those needing to get to work. Arrived early, was called back on time and promptly began treatment resulting in greatly improved status. Looking forward to my next appointment and hoping it's as effective as my first.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
