From the reviews

She's very nice to speak to. Personable, relatable and informative. This was my first time with acupuncture and my first time with lower back pain. The room was inviting and the artwork on the wall complimented the room and added to the relaxation and experience.

A little background - Over the course of the past 10 years or so, I have gradually developed several random ailments (debilitating anxiety, joint pain/stiffness, hair loss, acne, eczema, tremors, etc).

★★★★★ — Hillary, Sep 2025

When I met Michelle I was at my wits end. At 28 I was diagnosed with PCOS with no real guidance or explanation on what that mean. At age 32 I had just been prescribed my 8th prescription medication, and was feeling worse than ever.

★★★★★ — Lizzy, May 2025

I've been seeing Michelle for over a year now, and I can honestly say she is one of the most empathetic, thorough, and professional practitioners I've ever worked with.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
