From the reviews
I was in very much pain for weeks and weeks. Every day was less mobility and more pain very uncomfortable. And I already had tickets to visit family near Highland New York. I traveled from North Carolina and was not having a good time. All the pain I needed relief. I highly recommend Bill.
I have been under Bill’s care for more than five years. I am 80 years old, with neuropathy in my legs due to diabetes. Bill has treated me successfully for leg pain, lower back pain, and wrist/hand pain. At one point early in the process, I was unable to stand up from a chair.
Bill is a fabulous person. I've never had any sort of acupuncture experience, so he was very good at informing me about the process before hand. When it came to the treatment, he is great at listening and modifying certain things for me, since I am new to acupuncture... which made me feel at ease.
Bill Weinstein is a phenomenal provider! I am an endurance athlete, who for years, has dealt with back and leg pain that has been unsuccessfully treated by several chiropractors, massage therapy, and visits to physical therapy.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
