From the reviews

I have been thrilled with my experience with Margo. She has taken such wonderful care of me! I always leave her office feeling tranquil with less anxiety and overwhelm from living as a busy mom and health care professional. I am so glad I found her!

★★★★★ — Casey, Dec 2019

I am so thankful that I came to Margo at Wild Rose Medicine last year as she has truly changed my life for the better. We struggled with infertility, were going through IVF and had multiple unexplained miscarriages over the years.

★★★★★ — Amanda, Jun 2023

I sought out Dr. Margo after being diagnosed with endometriosis and learning that IVF would be our best shot at having a baby (pun intended for all you IVF warriors our there). I was doing everything in my power to prepare my body to become pregnant, and receiving acupuncture treatments with Dr. Margo was a key part.

★★★★★ — Megan, Dec 2023

I came to Margo before beginning, and then during, fertility treatments. It was my first experience with acupuncture and Margo made it easy to relax and to enjoy from my first treatment. I always leave feeling quite relaxed and calm and I think this had a positive impact on my treatments.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
