From the reviews

I don't know what drew me to Whole Beauty and Health when I was looking up Acupuncture Practitioners on my health insurance website, but I saw Irena's name and just knew this is where I had to go. I am so happy that I was drawn to them.

★★★★★ — Shari, Jan 2021

My experience at Whole Beauty and Health has truly been an exceptional one. I walked through the door with a multitude of physical Ailments, brought about by emotional trauma several years ago.

★★★★★ — Amber, Jun 2022

Before coming in to Whole Beauty and Health I had chronic pain in my leg, which ultimately forced me to get surgery. After my surgery, I was in a lot of pain and was recommended visiting Irina. At first I was skeptical, but ultimately decided to go because I was in so much pain and nothing else was helping.

★★★★★ — Michael, Feb 2021

I am so thankful to have found Whole Beauty and Health. It is such a wonderful place with wonderful staff. I see Irina and Konstantin for acupuncture as well as Dr Jeff for chiropractic work. I appreciate having many different providers in one location and they work really well together.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
