Aundrea is a gifted massage therapist. I’ve needed extensive cupping work, a lifting up of the fascia and muscles instead of a pressing down massage. She is skilled in many cupping techniques, stationary as well as sliding.
Meg did a fantastic job with my massage. Super relaxing and soothing! Love how she added different Modalities, like cupping and aromatherapy, and it wasn’t an extra charge as well as some light stretching. Plus, it’s really cool when the gratuity is included with the overall price. I will definitely be going back here.
I had a GREAT experience at West Therapeutic with Jami. She was very considerate, knowledgeable, and skilled. She made me feel very comfortable and ensured her pressure was to my liking. I could tell by her techniques that she had knowledge of different muscles, how they react and how to loosen them up.
I found Taylor to be really nice and the massage was very good. I asked for one change, she accommodated and I enjoyed the experience over all. Plus, I also like their policy of tips being included in the price. For me, this is close to home and the price is fair I think for the quality. I will Go back!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
