From the reviews

After trying essentially every other option for TMJ pain relief I decided to try acupuncture. Since I had never done it before, I was a bit nervous about treatments(aka needles).

★★★★★ — Kade, Oct 2025

As a confirmed needle-phobe, I'm an unlikely candidate to be dropping a five star review on an acupuncture clinic. But here we are. A bundle of recent injuries had me feeling my age. I reluctantly followed my partner to West End Acupuncture's community acupuncture session.

★★★★★ — Daniel, Feb 2026

I'm a 34 year old "athlete" weekend warrior. I was in tears because of my sciatica pain and some rotator cuff stress while pursuing my sport of love, volleyball. I HATE needles so for a while I couldn't envision getting prickled and pinned as healing. When I met Zach he was exactly who I was hoping to run into.

★★★★★ — Zachary, Feb 2026

I called Zach in bad shape, with low back spasms that had me in severe pain. Walking was an extraordinary effort, I couldn’t lift anything and was unable to stand fully upright. Zach was a lifesaver. He was able to schedule me quickly and assess what I was experiencing.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
