From the reviews
Wen's spa was absolutely incredible. Strongly recommend the back walking and cupping. Wen was amazing in making us feel comfortable and relaxed and we felt great afterwards
This is BY FAR, the best spa in this area. Wen is not only licensed, but was classically trained in China. Her massage technique isn't a routine, like you'll find at other spas, but it's an art form. She is kind, knowledgeable, and gentle.
Wen's massages are amazing! I pulled my back out and had seen the chiropractor several times, it was helping but I was still super stiff and sore. I decided to stop in at Wen's and it was just what I needed to get rid of that last bit of lingering pain. After I felt so refreshed and relaxed, all the tension was gone.
I have been having problems walking after having a double in knee replacement and hip replacement. I decided 2021 was the year that I was going to take care of myself. If you don't take care of yourself you can't take care of anyone else.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
