From the reviews
I am thrilled to have found Jill at WCU. The way Jill practices makes treatment accessible and affordable for everyone. I have been dealing with several autoimmune diseases over the past 9 yrs and have seen a dozen physicians. My digestive issues and joint pain continued to worsen.
During a visit to Wenatchee I was lucky enough to visit and receive a treatment from Jill at her amazing new clinic, Wenatchee Community Acupuncture. She has created a beautiful space that feels calm, peaceful and grounding upon arrival.
Whether you have experience with Acupuncture or if you are new to this treatment, you must check out this new business. To open in the middle of a pandemic I'm sure was challenging. The space is warm, inviting and lends itself to the maximum benefit that this treatment offers.
Acupuncture with Jill is such a blessing. It's one of my favorite things to do in life. Not only can Jill deeply meet you where you are, but she can really help you deepen your healing journey so that its engaging and fun.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
