From the reviews

Boynn is amazing. She is very thorough, and asks very detailed questions to best decide the correct treatment. I suffered with plantar fasciitis and had seen a podiatrist and a chiropractor. I saw relief after 4 visits. We also did a couple of follow up appointments to make sure I was on the right track.

★★★★★ — Denine, Aug 2022

I can't say enough amazing things about Boynn and her practice. I've seen many healers over the years. I've experienced the most results by far with her, on an regular basis. I've come out feeling more like myself after very visit. I highly recommend Boynn and her knowledge.

★★★★★ — Dev, Mar 2022

Boynn in the unicorn! I've seen dozens of healing practitioners, including at least 8 acupuncturists, over decades of chronic illness. Boynn is in a class of her own. She blends deep Eastern and Western medical knowledge with intuition, precision and professionalism.

★★★★★ — Sid, Mar 2022

As an acupuncturist, Boynn combines solid, evidence- based practice with compassion and innate intuition. It is a winning combination. Her facility with traditional Chinese herbal medicine has been a particularly helpful gift for me. Grateful for her care.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
