From the reviews
Over the past several months, I have gotten a few massages with Amy at WIMB in Concord and have been really pleased every time. She’s a really thoughtful therapist who gets to know you and your body issues and has targeted responses for them.
Dr. Haley Sherrard is awesome. I am a long time runner and have been working through some very painful knee injuries over the past few years. Haley has provided exactly the right chiropractic therapy over the past 6 months and I am now a happy long distance runner again.
This is truly one of the best facilities I've been to. The staff is really friendly and I felt really comfortable being treated for my injury at Wellness in Motion. I was still able to keep working out during my treatment without taking time off which made me feel supported as an athlete.
Dr. David St. Jean is phenomenal!!! He is so knowledgeable about how the body functions optimally. I have been getting treatments with him for several weeks now and he is consistently amazing. My pain from an injury is significantly less and on the way to being completely gone.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
