What clients say about the cupping here
“I recently messed up my back and had lower back pain in the same spot where I pulled a muscle years ago, but this time I could tell I was misaligned in my spine.”
“LaRocco give gentle but thorough adjustments and are especially good in the neck area where so many other chiropractors are slack and/or too aggressive when adjusting.”
“The heritage and practice, which Avery was so kind to explain and share, made me personally feel honored to have the opportunity for the experience and we had not even really gotten started.”
“LaRocco give gentle but thorough adjustments and are especially good in the neck area where so many other chiropractors are slack and/or too aggressive when adjusting.”
“The Fitness Lab is the best place my husband and I have found for workout classes, where you will find top-notch coaches who watch members carefully to be sure their form is correct.”
“I should also point out that are exceptionally good at keeping the Lab clean and sanitized.”
“I loved their package pricing and found it to be much more affordable than others I researched.”
“Upon my first visit of the Elite, I was greeted by Stacey, who was very bubbly and knowledgeable and helped me to get settled before meeting for my first adjustment.”
From the reviews
I wanted to leave my feedback on my experience with the Womb Wellness Steam from Avery Atkinson, the owner The Queens Quarters NC located in WCNC. I honestly was not sure what to expect when I booked the appointment.
I have been going to Dr Taylor Cox for the last 6 weeks, and I can truly say she is the best chiropractor I have ever been to. When Dr Taylor adjusts my neck and spine, I feel the difference immediately and my pain is gone.
The care at Elite is just phenomenal. I saw Dr. V and my husband saw Dr. David LaRocco. My husband, who has been visiting chiropractors regularly for over two decades, says Elite offers the best chiropractic care he’s ever had hands down.
This place is amazing. I am especially fond of the Fitness Lab. The instructors are not only amazing trainers; they are just very good people. They know my name. They know my weaknesses and issues and work to tallier workouts that meet my specific needs. I am so much stronger since coming here. They push me!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
