From the reviews

I can’t recommend Well Collab and Chryssa enough! From the moment I stepped into the office, I felt at home. Love the vibes, the offering of a warm cup of tea, and that Chryssa sat to talk to me about my symptoms and really listen/validate my experiences before the acupuncture portion began.

I think all four of us have been in to Well Collaborative to see either Chryssa or Erika. They've helped us with a variety of things like knee arthritis, stomach or sleep issues and we all came away feeling better with ideas to help ourselves on an ongoing basis.

★★★★★ — Ed, Apr 2020

I have seen both acupuncturists, Chryssa and Erikka, and have had wonderful treatments by both. They have helped not only my gut issues, but also improved my overall wellness through acupuncture and their meditation classes are great. They are the best!!

★★★★★ — Alexia, Jun 2017

I’ve been getting acupuncture here for the past 2 years to treat migraines. Adding acupuncture to my treatment plan has helped reduce the number I get. I really appreciate that Chryssa is a great listener and makes me feel comfortable.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
