From the reviews

A friend referred me to Water Point Wellness and raved about Marion's acupuncture skills and I'm here to say that the hype is real! Marion's treated me regularly for anxiety issues, physical aches and pains (mostly lower back and hormonal issues), and most recently has given me facial acupuncture for a little extra…

★★★★★ — Suzuki, Nov 2025

I was a total mess when I came here: major digestion issues from traveling, tweaked back and neck from driving, and general hormone issues. Marion Dunham managed to make me feel human again after a full acupuncture and cupping session.

★★★★★ — Serena, Jan 2024

I have been seeing Marion for a couple of years now and trust her implicitly. She has worked wonders on my body. I see her for cupping, reflexology, and acupuncture. Reflexology is better than any medicine out there.

★★★★★ — Annie, Jan 2026

Marion is a wonderful practitioner, responsive to my requests and individual needs. I use acupuncture for migraines, chronic anxiety, chronic pain and mental health- Marion is responsive and adaptable to all my ongoing and fluctuating conditions, and offers level-headed, expert, and personal medical advice.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
