From the reviews

Dr. Tsan is the best physician I ever met in my life. He is a Universal Doctor. Does not matter what kind of medical problem you have – call him. He always has an answer and a remedy for you. When I met him first time I suffered from depression and he fixed me in a matter of a few weeks.

I’ve been treated by Victor Tsan, MD. I came to his office with severe left neck and shoulder pain that happened after I injured myself in GYM. Dr. Victor examined me and immediately said: “Acupuncture is all you need.

I’d like to mention it right away: the greatest blog created by a physician, at least that I’ve ever read, is by a medical doctor from the former Soviet Union Dr. Tsan. He immigrated to the US in 1989 and in Philadelphia PA established a holistic medical center Viva Healthy Life.

My friend who been treated at Viva Healthy Life for neck pain recommended me to see Dr. Tsan when I first time experienced episode of asthma. My family doctor prescribed me 5 different medications and told me that unfortunately I'll have to take them to the rest of my life. After initial evaluation Dr.

Booking hijama (wet cupping) at Viva Healthy Life - The Center for Holistic Medicine

Viva Healthy Life - The Center for Holistic Medicine comes up as a provider that offers hijama — wet cupping, where the skin is lightly punctured after suction so a small amount of blood is drawn. If you're booking hijama specifically, a few things are worth asking before you go. First, sterility is everything — a reputable practitioner uses a fresh, single-use kit (new blades and cups) for every client and follows clean, gloved technique. It's completely fair to ask how they handle this. Second, many people booking hijama want a same-gender practitioner — a female practitioner is available here. Third, ask about aftercare and whether they observe particular days if that matters to you.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
