From the reviews

Oxford Rehab Center has been nothing short of incredible. I’ve had such an amazing experience with everyone on the team, I couldn’t be more thankful for them. Carla has such a bright personality & always put a smile on my face whenever I’ve seen her.

I want to complement the people I worked with to get me where I can say “I feel tremendous!!”but in particular, their lead physical therapist,Wendy. She is absolutely the best therapist you can have.

I don’t even know where to start. This place is heaven sent. After my car accident I was in so much pain mentally & physically. Dr. Cohen literally changed this for me. He found certain issues in my body that I didn’t even know was there. He is so thurl. The staff here is great.

I really loved to come to Oxford rehabilitation Center. The staff are so friendly. My physical therapist Wendy made me feel like a family. I'm in my 70's and suffering from neurological health issues that limits my ability to walk more than 2 blocks. She picked me up from my house for the first 8 weeks.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
