From the reviews
I visited Jason at Vital Six for the first time with some worrisome pain in my achilles. It was bad enough that, 6-weeks out from my race, I stopped running entirely.
This was my third time coming to Jason; this time for knee strengthening and hopefully to avoid knee replacement in the future. After 12 visits, I feel stronger and more confident when using my knees, bending, and I am back to my rowing machine workouts daily.
Jason is highly skilled physical therapist who truly listened to my concerns and created a personalized treatment plan that got me back to doing the activities I love, pain-free. His expertise took me from having debilitating pain from a herniated disc to getting my life back and being able to workout on my own.
Working with Jason was nothing short of HIGH level. As a Division 1 basketball player I’ve worked with dozens of trainers over the years and from the first consultation to the final session, he was more focused than any I’ve come across.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
