I've been scheduling sessions with Jesus for the last year or so and can't recommend him highly enough. I found him by happenstance after a few months of randomly choosing masseuses at a spa and have been requesting him specifically since then.
Jesus is an amazing masseur! I will not see anyone else except him. He is professional and very knowledgeable about the human anatomy. He communicates with you throughout the session about certain tension areas and what he will be doing. I always feel like a brand new person when I walk out of his office.
Jesus is the most knowledgeable masseuse I have ever worked with. He is just incredible! He is meticulous in his methods and so very effective in treating my various and complicated neck and spine issues. I'm really so very grateful to have found him!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
