From the reviews
I recently underwent a medical procedure involving a significant incision and recovery process, and I’m so grateful my surgeon recommended Via Medical Massage. Their care has been incredibly effective in supporting my healing — both physically and emotionally.
I had my first appointment as a patient at Via Medical Massage and was incredibly impressed with Hallie. She is truly gifted and extremely intuitive. As a surgeon, I carry a lot of tension in my upper back, shoulders, and neck, and she was able to address all of it seamlessly.
I can’t recommend Hallie enough! After my cosmetic thigh lift surgery, I was nervous about the recovery process—especially swelling and healing—but Hallie has been absolutely incredible with my lymphatic massages. She is knowledgeable, gentle, and truly understands how to support the body through recovery.
I don't usually leave reviews, but my session with Alana Hill helped me so much with my chronic headaches I almost cried. I suffer from chronic headaches and chronic migraines and went to try a massage for headache sufferers for the first time. I had been going on the fourth day of having the headache.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
