From the reviews

Working from home and sitting all day in front of the computer has done a number on my back and shoulders. Prior chiropractors would just do a quick adjustment, pop my back/neck, and then leave me on a massaging table for the rest of my appointment time. Dr. Andrew is very professional and knowledgeable.

★★★★★ — Amy, Feb 2022

I’ve seen Dr. Andrew for years now. I initially saw him for tennis elbow pain which was caused by constant computer use. What I really liked about Dr. Andrew is that he’s not a chiropractor who just focuses on adjustment.

★★★★★ — Lorraine, Dec 2021

Thorough! Thorough! Thorough! I was amazed at the work that Dr. Andrew achieved in such a short time frame and also for my first session. I've been having pretty severe shoulder issues where it has been really difficult and many times painful to lift my arms higher than my head.

★★★★★ — Jonathan, Jun 2022

Dr. Andrew has made an incredible difference in my health. Treatment is ALWAYS personalized to what's going on with you at the moment. Depending on what you need, you might get a wide range of things to help; including cupping, stretches, range of motion exercises, and massage.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
