From the reviews
Emily Morrison is my go-to for acupuncture, cupping and/or Chinese body work. She knows her stuff. Rachel Sherman is a very gifted Myofacial release practitioner. She creates a deeply potent field for healing. I refer my clients to both practitioners often.
Emily Morrison is truly a gifted healer — the most intuitive and magical practitioner I have ever encountered. I’ve walked into her space feeling broken, overwhelmed, and energetically blocked, and every single time I’ve left feeling light, free, and joyful. It’s a transformation that words barely capture.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️∞ (infinity stars!) Emily Morrison at Valley Spirit Acupuncture is beyond words the most masterful healing practitioner I have ever experienced. Her craniosacral work is off the charts, her Taiwanese bone-setting is phenomenal, and her acupuncture is unparalleled.
I am always impressed with the level of care I receive at Valley Spirit Wellness Center. When I step through the doors, a calm and peaceful environment greets me. I find myself immediately relaxed and so happy to be there!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
