From the reviews
I recently started working with Belmarie for a few different issues, but mostly chronic back pain in an unusual spot. It’s only been two visits, but it’s already been super helpful. I am looking forward to seeing how my back heals over time under her care.
Dr. Milan has been so helpful for me and my partner Steven this past year with recovering from a traumatic life change. Her Acupuncture and cupping is tremendously helpful in relieving both of our post traumatic stress symptoms, and getting through and recalibrating alignment in my spine and pelvis.
I have been getting acupuncture and cupping with Dr. Belmarie for the last few months and it has been such a great experience! I look forward to every appointment. Dr. Belmarie is so warm and knowledgeable, you feel instantly comfortable the moment you walk in. I leave feeling amazing after each visit.
I’ve been seeing Dr.Millan for about a month where she does cupping and sliding cupping on my back and I leave feeling so good every time! Very easy to work with and she is very friendly and knowledgeable in her field. I would highly recommend her services to anyone!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
