I’ve been going to Unwind Chiro Care for a few months now & Dr. Chris has really helped with my lower back pain. When I first walked in, my back was in excruciating pain but after some adjustments, he really helped ease my back pain.
My wife had been having some neck and back pains after running marathons the past few years. I took my wife to Unwind Chiropractic on the recommendation of some friends, and we were not disappointed. Dr. Chris was very nice, polite and explained everything he did (which we greatly appreciated).
I am very glad this place opened up here when it did. Doctor Chris is very professional and has taken his time in working with me. Every session I have have with him has been tailor made for my particular ailments and whatever he feels is important for maintaining a healthy back.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
