Selene is amazing! She listens to what you want and really customizes the experience for you.
The room was clean and quiet. You couldn't hear any street traffic coming in. The bed was warm and the lights were dimmed. I felt like Selene really listened to me when I told her what I wanted to focus on. Listen to me when I say she has a golden touch with educated hands. Go ahead....
First and foremost, Selene provides a very good deep tissue massage. Her studio also has a very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.. I've also noticed she's doing a great job of adhering to common sense COVID protocols which is appreciated.
Selene is EXCELLENT! one of my favorite for massages and always tries her best to fit me in last minute. I no longer live in the area but will make special trips just to see her. Thanks Selene!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
