I have been going to Physical Achievement Center for 3 weeks now and it has been an amazing experience. All of the staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I am 68 years old and suffer from tingling pain in my legs as well as a very unsteady gait.
I was suffering from extreme pain, ache, tingling of my left shoulder blade down to my whole left arm that started March, 2025. I had seen a spine doctor, accupuncturist, PT in one of the hospital in Oshkosh for several months but I did not get relief.
I have used PAC for the balance & swelling issues on my feet & leggs. Dr Jessica in PT did a superb job in starting me into right direction to strengthen my feet & leg. Her special concern to safety during treatment worth mentioning. I could feel the positive outcome with the routine exercises she prescribed.
My husband had a stroke in spring of 2024. We went through therapy some place else. They hurried through it. They weren't thorough. Therapy stalled. We were referred to Physical Achievement Center. Since going there the therapy has changed his focus and he is once again moving forward.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
