From the reviews
Couldn't be more grateful for Emily's support! I've had irregular periods my entire life, and Emily was the first person who actually sat down and listened to what's been going on with empathy and understanding.
I have been working with Emily for about a year and a half now and couldn't recommend her more! She caters treatment not only to how you are feeling that day, but to target your future goals as well. She was an integral part of my TTC and pregnancy journey, and now will continue to see her postpartum as well.
I have been seeing Emily for 1+ year for acupuncture, and can't say enough great things about her work!! Emily is truly incredible in what she is able to curate - a gentle, understanding, empathetic, safe approach to every visit. I leave feeling seen, validated, and much better in my physical body.
I started receiving acupuncture and chiro here about three months ago and I have seen nothing but improvement ever since. I have always struggled with migraines, and they have gotten worse since being a student and staring at a computer screen all day.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
