Why Seven Seeds Acupuncture is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “ture "I cannot praise Julie Johnson enough. I started seeing her in December 2019 for back pain related to a car accident as well as for some fertility treatments. For my back pain, she would use needles as well as fire cupping, which…” source →

From the reviews
Julie is an exceptionally knowledgeable acupuncturist with a warm, calming presence. She skillfully incorporates multiple modalities to provide effective relief for my shoulder pain, including needles, e-stim, and cupping.
Julie is a thorough, caring, and knowledgeable accupuntirist. I initially went for stress relief and insomnia. With her help through acupuncture and Chinese herbs, I was able to regulate my stress AND sleep well. Julie also helped me through some shoulder and foot pain.
Julie is absolutely wonderful!! Not only has she helped with my back pain, but she has also eased the tension and stress of this past year. She is extremely welcoming and is someone that listens and truly cares about the wellness of her patients. I would recommend her to anyone looking for acupuncture!
Julie is the absolute best! I came to Julie over a year ago when we were trying to get pregnant. I immediately knew that I was in the best, most caring hands with Julie. In a supportive and non-judgmental way, Julie helped me make changes in my diet and environment.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
