From the reviews

I had some lower back issues including soreness and tightness and it was tough to make an appointment on a Sunday. Thankfully, we got a call-back for an appointment later in the day. Dr. Sakai was patient and explained to me what was going on.

I went to Dr. Kubonoya at True Family Clinic for help with knee pain after my knee replacement in January of 2020. I didn't know what she would be able to do, since I was in constant pain. I was taking opioids but wanted to be able to decrease the dose. Dr.

I had a stroke on Feb 2024 It was hard because my left side including my face, was paralyzed. I couldn't walk nor talk. I was so frustrated because my doctors kept saying that it would take 18 to 24 months for me to regain some sort of movement on my left side of my body. I'm a single parent and I needed it to work.

My wife went to this OM acupuncture Docs office for the first time. This is a few months later after going to the Wongu school of medicine where most of these doctors at this location came from originally as students. The first time she went, she felt relief for several hours after the treatment.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
